About Small Animal Boarding at Penlan

Penlan Cattery – our boarding facility for cats - opened in May 2002 and we extended our services to include small animal boarding from 2005 onwards.

“Small animals” includes such pets as:

• Rabbits,
• Guinea-pigs,
• Hamsters,
• Birds,
• Reptiles,
• and variations thereof!

At Penlan we have lots of experience, both personal and professional, with many types of animals and we know that small animals can be sensitive to change. We are caring and friendly people and confident that your pet will have a calm and pleasant stay.

We have a range of different sized cages suitable for rabbits and guinea-pigs. Most other small animals / birds / reptiles prefer to remain in their own cage (and have their usual bedding and food) so we have plenty of room to accommodate your pet and their accessories if appropriate.
