Frontline regular contains Fipronil, a highly effective flea killer lasting 4-5 wks on a cat and 7-8 wks on a dog.
Frontline Combo contains Fipronil & S-Methoprene which in addition to the above also inhibits the development of flea eggs, larvae and pupae again for 7-8 weeks. ie it also treats the environment as well as your pet, but does require a prescription.
Best advice is to buy the regular frontline and combine it with the environmental spray if nec. ie no prescription required.
